If you have been in a crash and you are hurting, it is fair to ask whether chiropractic care is safe right now. For most people it is, and here is how we make sure.

Safety starts with the exam

Good care does not begin with an adjustment. It begins with an evaluation. We do a focused exam covering range of motion, nerve, and muscle testing, and we order imaging when it is needed, so we understand your injuries before treating them.

Care is matched to your injury

Treatment is built around the stage and severity of your injury, with gentler techniques early and progress as you heal. For the soft-tissue and joint injuries common in crashes, such as whiplash, neck pain, and back strain, chiropractic care, massage, and rehab are well-established, conservative options.

When it is not the right fit

If the exam or imaging shows a fracture, instability, or another issue that needs different care, we say so and refer or co-manage. Evaluating you properly up front is how we keep care safe.

The bigger risk is often waiting

Untreated crash injuries can get worse and become chronic. Getting evaluated promptly is usually the safer choice.

Care at all three clinics

We offer same-day appointments in Oregon City, Milwaukie, and Troutdale, with licensed massage therapists on staff. After a car accident in Oregon, your PIP coverage usually pays for treatment with nothing out of pocket. Book a visit and we will get you in.

Common questions

Is it safe?

For most people, yes, after an exam and any needed imaging to tailor care.

Do you examine me first?

Always. Exam and any imaging come before treatment.
