Meet the Team
Vice President, Auto Injury Chiropractic ClinicsDr. Julie ElbonI was born and raised in Southern Oregon, but consider Portland my home after spending the last 16 years here. I moved to Portland in 2006 to complete my Bachelors in Human Biology and went to the University of Western States for my doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, I was licensed as an EMT and worked on local film and television productions as a set medic and production assistant. I joined Auto Injury Chiropractic – Troutdale in June of 2020 and over the last few years I have grown to love this clinic and our community. I genuinely care about my team here, and feel incredibly grateful for my position within this constantly changing and growing company. In my free time you will find me with my best friend, Hector Larry David Jalapeno, the most spoiled and boujee Pomeranian/cocker spaniel/chihuahua/poodle mix on the planet.
Chiropractic PhysicianDr. Emily BoggessBefore becoming a chiropractor, I studied Cultural Anthropology at UC Santa Barbara and was an NCAA Division I athlete in swimming. These experiences sparked my deep interest in the human body, movement, healing and the power of community. This passion eventually led me to Portland, where I earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters in Sports Medicine Degrees from the University of Western States. Although I was born and lived most of my life in Southern California, I have developed a deep love for the Pacific Northwest and the incredible community here. I am committed to helping people move better, feel better and get back to doing what they love without pain. I am thrilled to be part of the Auto Injury Chiropractic – Troutdale team. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending my time weightlifting, baking, knitting, and playing video games. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!
Chiropractic PhysicianDr. Kyra WiensI graduated from University of Western States obtaining a Bachelors in Human Biology and my Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. As of December of 2025 I am now officially a Doctor of Chiropractic! Before graduating I had the amazing opportunity to intern here at Auto Injury Chiropractic for 6 months and knew I wanted to come back and continue to treat our amazing patients. I am a Canadian from Vancouver, BC and have lived in the USA for 6 years; I happily encourage all the Canada jokes! My hobbies outside of work are spending time in nature, reading, watching animal and true crime documentaries, and hanging with my kitties : Harold & Pollo. I cannot wait to meet you all and continue working to help you achieve your goals!
Licensed Massage TherapistMakanaMakana was born and raised in Portland, OR, and graduated with honors from University of Western States in 2017. She has a strong passion for helping her clients recover from their injuries, relax and rebalance muscles, and ultimately lead a pain-free life. When she is not in the clinic, she spends her time outdoors with her husband and 1 year old daughter.
Licensed Massage TherapistAlexandraI come from a long line of health care workers, most of the women in my family are involved in the medical field, so caring for others runs in my blood. My mother has been one of my biggest inspirations and has always encouraged me to follow my dreams. I grew up in the wonderful Columbia River Gorge where I developed my love of nature. Being up in the mountains, walking on the trails, or kayaking through the lakes helps me to feel at peace with the world. I also love to snowboard, hike, swim, spend time with my family or playing with my pup. It is my goal as a massage therapist to attend to your concerns and focus on areas of pain and tension while also providing a healthy dose of relaxation. I strive to create an environment free from judgement and work to help you feel more comfortable not only in the treatment room, but in your body. I welcome any feedback about how I can make your session the best it can be!
Chiropractic Assistant / MassageNadiiaI grew up on Ukrainian lands, that are now affected by war — that’s the reason I came to the United States. I studied a nursing program there and gained experience in the medical field. When I left, I packed my bag, brought my skills, and carried with me two languages and a strong desire to help others. I’m grateful to continue growing here, using my knowledge and compassion to support patients every day. In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding, singing in a worship team, spending time with friends, and staying active outdoors.
Chiropractic AssistantEmmaMy name is Emma, and I was born and raised here in the PNW. I was born in Gresham, and lived in both Corbett, OR and Gresham, OR, where I went to school. Helping people has always been a passion of mine, and I am so excited to do so here at Auto Injury Chiropractic. In my free time, you can find me at a local thrift store, somewhere in the gorge, at a live show, or at home with my 2 cats, Fig & Lima Bean.
Front Desk CoordinatorZhenyaHello! My name is Zhenya and I was born and raised in Yakima Washington before moving to Portland in 2022. With a history in customer service, I pride myself on being friendly, approachable, and always willing to lend a helping hand whether that means assisting patients, supporting my team or keeping daily operations running smoothly. I love being in a role where I can make someone’s day a little better and be part of a team that helps people feel their best! Outside of work you can catch me unwinding with a good mystery book, learning to bake something new, getting creative with arts and crafts or cozying up with my two cats, Cleo and Ezra.
